When it comes to social media, do you ever think to yourself, “Hello?! Is this thing on?”
I have to confess: I have a love/hate relationship with it.
As an ex-pat who lives thousands of miles from her family and tribe of friends, I depend on it to stay connected with people I love and to share cringe-worthy (hilarious) videos with my BFF from 9th grade because she’s the only one who appreciates them as much as I do.
I also rely on it to get visible with my dream clients and to keep the cash flowing into my business.
Basically, I’d be lost without it.
But, I know how it feels to hustle like a maniac and feel like you’re just not getting anywhere with it…
The algorithms aren’t in our favor anymore and the internet just grows more and more saturated with noise and competition.

I know a heck of a lot about online marketing and I’ve been on social media since the MySpace days, but I’m as guilty as anyone who’s just gone out there and used the “I’ll just wing it and hope it works out” strategy.” (i.e. no strategy at all).
